Apparently my car is popping flames...

As great as this looks I'm a bit concerned its not great for the car as surely something is wrong? I know it's running rich - could that be it? Is the cure therefore another remap?

Thought this wouldn't happen if you have your cat?

His CAT won't be intact for long (If he's got one fitted) if it's spitting flames

Did you buy the inlet separately and get it mapped elsewhere?

Mine does this Lee, but only when cold and having to boot it leaving work on an upward road for 1/4 of a mile, once warmed up it's ok. It's been doing it for 2 Years. Touches head, no probs.

Sounds good though doesn't it

Decat tbh, best thing I've done to mine

On the subject of popping flames though, been offered an Omex rev limiter system for £50. My inner chav says 'yes', brain says 'no'. What to do!?

This is worrying as my engine wasn't cold when my nephew said it was doing it

I have a full Milltek system with sports cat and had it mapped at Jamsport when they fit the inlet and cams...

FFS - sounds like another map is required

do i not remember that you had been considering another map at a local place you had used before rather than returning to jamsport?

Yeah - obviously I've been before but Chris (Coyne) also knows them so I'm hoping to negotiate a discount one way or another

Might be worth it if you can then. Especially seeings your car has changed since the JS map. Offer them to use your car as advertising in return for cheap work

It would certainly end up with a badge under the bonnet
