So travelling to work this morning and the car was giving me no real heat from the blowers. Then i rolled down the windows to find the fan going and was very loud. lifted the bonnet to find there was practically no coolant running in the bottle.

So i have left it runnning on the drive for a little while and there is fresh coolant leaking from somewhere on the passenger side but it seems too far back to be the radiator and the hoses onattached to the resevoir were dry so i dont think its them.

Anyone got any ideas?

annoying it leaking fast enough for me to have to sort it out tight away lol

My was leaking as the water pump had failed. Got a new one done through warranty and fixed it

Where about is the water pump located?

Underneath where the coolant pot is I think. Took mine to ford when I noticed there was some coolant on it and.I had to keep topping the fluid up every week

Water pump is on the drivers side though mind.

Check your pipes to make sure theyre not leaking!

I had this on mine and when i had a look some how i had managed to make a pipe come off the header tank

Mine leaked everywhere because the pipes were rubbing against the fan. Make sure the clips haven't broken like mine did

I think a coolant hose has a small hole in it

Yes, that's a pretty good price.

Yeah thats good mine was £200 odd done under warranty
