It will adapt but wont be running to its full potential! I'd complete the rest of the exhaust before you get a remap!

im not gonna change the cat as i dont have the money for a sports cat and i cant be bothered with the hastle of having a decat and changing it back for the MOT.

i managed to get a good deal on the manifold and catback (£300 used).

but if the ecu will adapt then thats ok.

Remaps are only worth it if you've taken the car as far as u want to. Even then, for what you've got on atm, the gains won't be huge. Your call ultimately

With a map maybe mid to high 150's. everyone's cars will give different results so difficult to guess accurately

ah, so not a lot then really, ok, i'll leave it, maybe i'll do more mods later on.

btw, why do some people put a 60mm throttle body on, and would i see any difference if i put one on?

A lot of people won't bother till they've got k&n and full exhaust on, even then it's not necessity.

The bigger throttle body just gives greater cross section for air flow. Someone who has fitted one will give u better before and after review. I've got one on mine but it was installed At same time as load of other parts so I couldn't honestly say how much difference it makes.

I had mine on when i had just my K&n57i, found it had a more responsive throttle, little bit quicker, smoother idle and revved alot smoother too!

Pumabuild did remap on my first st, Said it was race + map. Had k&n and piper decat and cat back. Car was really agressive after but mpg was 21-22 :C. Problem is next time you do a mod ull have to map again
