Probably a bit late now but Halfords Super Brilliance bulbs are excellent and on 2 for 1

+1 - they're my other headlight bulbs I'm using at the moment while I don't have the yellows in

make sure you don't touch the bulbs when you put them in, use kitchen roll or something
my mate is a lighting engineer and it's the same with the big lights, something to do with the moisture from your hand attracting more heat and it just makes them blow

I had HODs in my ST for about 8 months with no problems at all unlike some other peoples on here seemed to blow really early

put my new bulbs in today and one of the sidelight bulbs wasnt workinh so theyve sent me out a new one to replace it. had another problem and my wing on the drivers side has now developed a few mm gap between it and the headlight so need to sort that out now. The bulbs are nice and bright tho

I’m on my third set of H4 bulbs and I’ve only had the car about 9 months..as my mother once told me “Thee buys cheap thee buys twice duck” in my case three time

Anyway regarding the gap between your wing.. make sure the light is locked into the bracket as I nearly missed it the first time..Honestly I’ve had the front lights out more times than soft mick... I think i could set a new world record
