Not a definite, but Mountune list these models as being compatible with the short shift arm for our IB5,

• Fiesta Mk6 and Fusion (2001-2008 including ST)
• Fiesta Mk7 (2008-onward including Zetec S, Titanium, S1600 and Metal)
• Mondeo (2007-onward)
• Focus (1998-2005)
• Focus (2004-2008)
• Focus CC (2006-2010)
• C-MAX (2007-2010)

Someone will need to clarify this but at face value I'd guess they're IB5

Mk2 Focus's apart from the 6-speeds.
All fiestas
All ka's of recent generation

If your looking to change the ratios. Won't work the diesel fiestas still cruise on the motorways at 3k. Abit lower but nothing different

Don't forget the fiesta st uses an ib5+ box not an ib5

Iv heard that the old escort van was ib5 box. The st has ib5+ which has reinforced bearing. Still to weak for the power

I think the weak thing In the ib5+ is the diff bearings.

The bearings in the gearbox are plastic cased, this is generally a weak point full stop, not just for the ib5. When sico does an upgrade he puts steel cased bearings in, the proper way to do it

Also yeah a quaife diff would be a major help!
