Any advice to give on whether its okay to throw snowfoam over it? it is okay to put a pressure wash lightly over? okay to wash the fabric roof with a normal shampoo wash?

Cheers

The best thing to wash a fabric roof with is APC and a slightly stiff brush. Work it into the area very thoroughly i.e until the foam is no longer discoloured. Once your done use an open ended hose and your hand to try and encourage all the cleaner out of the fabric

Jet wash from a distance and not on a fine jet, I have AG's convertible hood kit, been very good when I've done the Porsche

I'm with Jonny on this one, wash with APC and a stuff brush (something like a nail brush) scrub until all the crud has come out then rinse with an open ended hose. Once it's fully dry, protect it with something like 303 fabric guard or Gtechniq i1 to keep it looking at its best and easy to maintain. Some people use another sealant which is used more in camping and such to help protect tents and other such things that aren't car related. Pretty sure it's called Fabsol or something like that...

How could I forget about the sealing part! The ones Luke recommended are probably the best ones around at sensible money.

If its anything like the ones I used to clean on Aston's and Ferrari's you'll be there for a while., they hold so much crap its unreal especially if it hasn't seen a proper clean before.

I found it easier to do do a 1/4 of the roof at a time, that way you ensure the whole roof gets done well as you don't want to start sealing it and find there's so still dirt lodged in it.
