The best thing to do would be to call Ford and ask them about it. I wouldnt have thought it would invalidate the whole of the cars warranty but probably just the engines etc. I'm sure either your dealer or Ford customer services will be able to help you out more though.

If, for example, your wheels fall off then yes... if you complain about over revving then they will try and blame it on the induction kit.

depends most dealers turn a blind eye to to it but if for what ever reason it wanst ok then in would only invalidate the induction system that would include inlet tract throttle body MAF sensor. Everything else is ok.

Fit it then and if anything goes wrong just convert it back to standard before you take the car in to be fixed.

You'll have to cut them off (carefully) and fit some jubilee clips from B&Q or Halfords

I understand that but wont the dealer notice the new jubilee clips and maybe drop the warranty ?

Not if you deal with Bristol St West Brom from now on and ask them about it.
Vardy's will invalidate your warranty if you fart in it

Just been looking on torquesteer again. They also have a k and n induction kit which is quite a bit cheaper. is it cheaper because it is not as good as powertec? can someone please tell me the difference between the two as i might use the newly acquired torquesteer discount!

I think the different between the 2 are the powertech u don't need to re oil it because is not made from the same fabric just need to blow it time to time therefore don't waiste time washing it. The Kn u need to wach it and re oil it which take a much longer.
