So i've just finished preparing a presentation for a job interview i have tomorrow, and all week people have been saying things like "just imagine the interviewer naked" etc.

So i thought it'd be interesting to see what pieces of advice (good or bad) people here have either given, or been given?

Always be yourself, look well presented (clean shoes) stay calm & relax!

Good luck! Hope the interview goes well

Good luck tomorrow. With regards to your presentation, the best bit of advice I can give is that - assuming you've wrote notes - is only to use them as a guide to keep you heading in the right direction, and keep eye contact as much as you can rather than making it look like you're reading out a script.

an air of confidence is good as well, know that your the best for the job and act like it, obviously not bordering on aroggance but being shy and timid in interviews is the downfall for alot of people and as Bex said just be personable and yourself.

good luck

Moonwalk into the interview room. You're bound to get the job, courage and good sense of humor. Haha

Do ur homework, research the company, know what their vision, goals and objectives are...

Match their corporate image (ie if its a suit environment, wear one)...

Have good evidence to answer their questions...

Be 100% on how you match the Person Specification...

Make sure you have questions to ask them at the end of the interview...

Make sure ur Facebook account, Twitter account and/or Linked In accounts don't have inappropriate info on it because that's the first place companies will look if they want info on you

Don't ask about salary and/or holiday in an interview, it's not appropriate at this stage

Be confident, smile and good luck

Just got back, I feel it went pretty well. I didn't moonwalk into the room, but what a great idea!
I'll find out on Friday if I've got the job, which means this week is going to drag on soooo slowly!

Thank you for all your advice it was all very good

Professionalism is essential and display an enthusiastic, positive attitude. I can only really echo what everyone has said but maybe conducting a mock interview with a family member or friend is a good idea? Saying that, I winged my last interview can you put together some kind of portfolio?
