Noticed on my way home from work the other day that the engine temp was abit high. Was in traffic and it was only slightly higher then normal so i kept an eye on it and kept going. Once moving on the motorway everything was normal and all was well. Just as i was arriving home the temp shot up and a warning light came on.

Checked coolant level next morning as it was late and the bottle was completely empty! Filled it up but as quick as it was going in it was coming straight out the bottom.

Would this be a loose hose or hole in the bottle? Thinking cos its coming out so quick it wouldn't be the water pump or the radiator. I'll have a look tmrw when im off work but any ideas.

Could be a hose that come off, or maybe a crack in one of the hoses.

It's hard to sat, i would just have a look. it's easy to see where it's coming from.

It'll be a hose I'd imagine. I had a coolant hose at the front of the engine split in Feb, similar symptoms.
