after almost year of trying to find the money ot be able to upgrade my headunit, with the help of my yearly bonus from work i am able to get one...

ive been looking around and have found this http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/17424.html

Has anyone ever heard of this brand before? ive looked online and can't find any reviews or statements about them

Secondly does anyone else have any suggestions? im trying to keep the cost including the fitting kit to below £200 if possible but dont mind going a little higher if needed

The thing to remember, is when you get those sort of features for £150 it's never going to be fantastic quality when compared to a proper named brand (Alpine/JVC/Sony/Pioneer etc).

Do you have to have the big colour screen on it (for reversing camera etc?). I still find that physical buttons are far superior to touchscreens and are safer to use when actually driving along.

Features wise, you can't go wrong with these (plus they come with bluetooth handsfree with external mic rather than a mic in the unit itself)

Beats I believe is one of their own makes and isn't great
Look for a pioneer or alpine really

Go for a brand, save a few more pennies and buy quality

I had a long think about it and finally went with..

a New desktop computer..i was offered something with amazing specs at a fraction of the normal price and couldnt say no as ive been needing to upgrade my Windows vista running 6 year old pc for a while now

i definatly agree with sticking to the well known brands just wondered if anyone had any dealing with BEAT as it seemed to be alot of spec for the price

Really really happy, I've been after a new one for while but never been able afford the spec so couldn't say no when it came up!
