My O2 sensor heater circuit has gone bad on the rear Sensor.

So what i would like to know is if anyone knows what O2 sensors Mountune use for the rear one?

i need to replace this ASAP as not only is the weather dry this week, it is consuming more fuel and having an engine light on bugs me.

it could be a bad one thats failed early or could be the sensor isnt renewed by mountune and is a coincidence.

i have checked for faults in the wiring (Broken wires, chafed wires or exposed) No faults found

Mountune have an email and i am awaiting a reply.

as far as I know Mountune do not fit any sensors on any kits for the MK6, bit unsure on MK7 might fit a new one for some reason.
Anyway, only issue I know of was early days when the sensors were getting bit too hot and subsequently they started adding extra heat wrap around the sensor leads, which would be worth doing anyway.

Well if they don't use new sensors then I guess I need to find out what sensors are used on the rear

It is all tucked along side the heat shield and out the way.

Doug has been excellent when I've had technical issues, even non Mountune related ones. Customer service is second to none.

Well Doug confirmed they re-use your sensor and DO NOT fit a new one, this means im on the hunt for a replacement.

Local car parts wholesalers don't have the part on there stock list

Ford would like to charge me £200 for the privalage of buying a part from them

So i'm on a hunt for a used one.

If anyone has the after CAT sensor which is the Blue plug one please can you let me know, want it replacing ASAP

just go to a none ford garage and they will order one, my mate needs one for his ST170 and like you say, his local garage can do him one for something like £70 less than Ford. Add some extra heat wrap around the sensor wires while your having it done.
