Insurance was the good news bit for me, as you can see from my avatar I have a Scooby at the moment. When my ST comes my insurance company are giving me nearly £300 back That's part of the reason why I am changing the Impreza as nice as it may be!

When I ordered mine I noticed that the price list (downloaded from the Ford Website) had the Prodrive advanced driving day available for people ordering up until the end of March.

Having said that no one has contacted me about the day!!

Its normally 2 weeks after you pick your car up. maybe a delay now that more people are getting their cars. Someone from ford on the day said they were suprised at how much ST/zetec-s has picked up in march because of the new plate. The date has been extended to the end of May or June can't remeber which date they said though.

Does anyone know if you still get this day if you don't order through a Ford dealer?

Nope, I'm still not sure if I get the day as I ordered mine with some special discount which I get from my company.

Hope so, it sounds like a blast!!

You have got to be a retail customer. which means no privilage discounts. ford organise the day so, unless you order you car from ford i dought you will get the day.

I thought that would probably be the case.

Technically, I'm not buying the car from Ford myself as I'm getting it pre-registered. Still, I'm sure there'll be plenty of opportunities for track days in it anyway.
