In all honesty mate, they're not worth it. I have some big chemical guys buckets with grit guards, and I haven't found them any better than the heavy duty ones you can get at B&Q. As long as you don't rub the mitt to the bottom of the bucket.

Personally I have never seen the need for a gritguard. Just using two buckets will be fine. As Luke says just keep the mit near the top of the rinse bucket.

I've just bought two new buckets for an extortionate £1 each.

Exactly Micky, I spent about £40 on buckets and grit guards and I just don't really see much difference lol

any will do but the grid guards i found on mine floated which was annoying, i had to make adjustments to mine to keep them at the bottom of the bucket

I like the idea of the grit guards and for the money I might as well give them a go, need to get a couple of bigger buckets tho
