I'd be inclined to suggest roof bars and a roof carrier as they seem more sturdy and less likely to damage the car. On my old Fiesta I just used a universal boot carrier fork set from Halfords if I remember correctly.

the spoiler would have to come off to fit one, as they have to clip into the top of the boot panel, also you cant fit a towbar to it so you cant use the ones that sit of a towbar

I've got two bikes in before ( Mtb's and roadbikes ) both wheels off and back seats right down. I dont like doing it as i know i'm going to ruin the interior at somepoint but needs must! Lay an old sheet down just to stop things getting shitty!
