Im looking for a bit of advice on how i can get rid of some spiders in my mirrors. Ive tried to hold the hose firing water into the back of the mirror but that doesn't seem to drown them! i thought i could wrap cling film round the mirror to stop them from catching any flies and starve them but i couldn't see through the cling film. I tried again firing WD40 into the mirror to almost smoke them out? (apparently WD40 has some sort of fly repellent property in it) wonder if its worth taking the mirror off the car and submerging it in water to truly drown them?

Anyone know if its easy or even possible to do that?

My mirrors aren't electric they do manually fold in but no electrics.

or if anyone has a magic tip from getting rid you'd be my hero! :P

Cheers

your mirrors are still electric chap they are heated, they all come with the heating element in them.

i managed to get one out of my old fiesta by taking the glass out and then i caught it, but 2 weeks later there was another one

i cant help anymore than that im afraid

when i gets a web, i gets a blade of grass and lightly touches the web, sometimes the spider comes running out and just hit the web away with the spider on it, or find a ant, pick it up and throw it onto the web, the spider will also come out, just wipe it away when its out.

For 'Black Widows' etc, this may be the best option

I wonder if a hairdryer would be enough to burn 'em out.

Ta dah!
might work

I've heard before that horse chestnuts work. Could split a few and glue them to the back of the mirror
