Noticed a small patch of fluid by my ST earlier, got under her and had a look at it, and the fluid is on the bottom of the engine and on the two hoses that are at the bottom of the bumper on the driver side near the aircon. Any idea what this is? Its either power steering fluid or oil. I've just topped both up and will see which starts to go down

What colour's the fluid? Could be a coolant leak - water pump perhaps? The water pump's a common problem, a few people (myself included) have had to replace theirs recently.

Just had the water pump changed about 2 weeks ago, and I haven't lost any fluid from the header tank. So definitely not that

If it was red it's power steering fluid, black its oil, is as much as we can tell you.

It could just be overspill from when the pump was changed. Got a photo?

Turns out its power steering fluid leaking from the high pressure hose just after the metal crimp, squirts out all over the engine bay when you turn the wheel.
