Just wondering if anybody can help!

Got my first Fiesta ST on sat and it was driving fine, till last night!

I started to hear a creaking noise mainly at low speed and it seems to happen mostly when I come out of a corner, but also sometimes when im just going straight.

Its hard to describe but it sounded like something was dragging along something at one point once I opened my window.

Anyone got any tips?

Might be the exhaust heat shield, if you cant see it under the car it might be the one by the manifold.

Couldnt see anything wrong. Strangely the noise has stopped. Very strange!

Was it cold that morning?

I have a creak when its cold sound like it comes from the glove box

There's probably a cream for that....

Thats the area where it sounded like it was coming from in mine too. Thankfully it hasnt come back yet! Still a bit weird though

Ye definantly go the Mountune route. Iv got the pumaspeed 182 and it made less power than Stephs MP165

I've also noticed so many people, mainly fellow youngsters in less powerful cars but also others in quick cars trying to race me, or almost nudging my nutsack with their bumper. Whats up with people, do they think I'm gonna go with it? Muppets

Mountune are pretty awesome. I never went 165 but straight to 185. The sound of the car mountune exhaust is awesome and people do seem to hassle you more in an st lol

Might be a silly question but does the 185 pull more in 1st and second than standard? Heard it's mainly good for more power at higher speeds?

Higher rpm because of the cams. You get a slight loss of power low down and the above 4000rpm the engine really kicks in. (so iv heard :D)
