Im about to order my ST in Performance Blue for March 1st. Now, im partial to a stripe but what does everyone else think?

Go for it..looks gorgeous with stripes!!

Stripes look really good for the weekend and when tonking around a track, but are you going to drive the car every day?

The question you have to ask yourself would you feel silly picking up your parents in a car with stripes on or parking it in a works car park when going for an interview?

But i am seriously considering them also?

Side stripes get my vote, top ones are just a bit too... errr... well they're not for me. Perhaps nice to look at in a photo but to live with they might be a bit much. Still, you can peel them off if you don't like them I guess.

All in my own personal opinion though of course.

It is only a weekend car plus client meetings during the week (once or twice). Thats what im thinking, is it appropriate all the time? I just think they define what the car is though!

Will they attract more of the wrong attention as well?

I`m will be buying mine as toy aswell, much like yourself will it attract to many twats!!!!

LOL!! They just aren't my cup of tea. There is a Lotus Elise around here with the over the top stripes and even it can't carry it off.

I think I would however like the side stripes. I always like them on the Fiesta RS as it hankers back to the RS1600i/RS Turbo Mk1 days.

Stripes on the White car yes, stripes on the blue car yes, but thats abooot it.

Over the top stripes (pun intended!) are NEVER 'in'.
