When I purchased my car a month ago and the guy handed me the one key I noticed the key is one ugly mofo.

No flip key, and also no little ford emblem where i guess it should be. How can I get a little emblem for the key? Is it just easier to get a new key from Ford?

Aah. Right - you have a problem in that a flip key is going to cost you more money as you only have one key. If you have two keys you can program a new key yourself.

Went to my local Ford dealer who cut it for £2, and programmed it myself using my existing two keys.

You have the problem of having to pay extra to get it programmed.

I now have one flip key, two remote keys and one standard key. I had a second remote key programmed too just to be on the safe side.

Seems like a lot of pissing about Shoshy, and for a key, is it worth the agro??

The key doesnt bother me in the slightest. It is the same key as a jaguar xj220 so thats something you can tell people
