Already posted in the general ST discussion but thought i'd post here. Currently owner of a 2005 1.4 16 zetec(always kept sparkling clean btw lol) and looking to move to the ZS as here in NI, the insurance for the ST would kill me. Almost £1000 difference between ZS and ST. Anyway just thought i'd say hello and its great to see such a strong forum for the ST base

Sorry folks, just another question. Not exactly ST related. How did most of you go about getting the ST? I think my best bet is to sell the zetec privately, settle my MGFV with ford (£2572) and use the remainder to put down as a deposit. Do most of you then go with Ford options? I'd like to keep my monthly payment below £200 if possible. I hope the big deposit will help.

What does the current ST list price sit at and what are dealers doing them for?

I think the list price is 13595...

not sure what most people have done but i think a fair few people have done ford options... i was lucky enough to be able to buy it outright!!
