My st is on a pcp.i change my car every 3 years as it suits me but everyones circumstances are different eh? Traded my 10 plate zetec S in and because I look after my cars it made around £1500 over the mgfv (minimum value) and I put around £900 extra towards it.mines £245 a month.i dont care what the baloon payment is as by then the 3 years will be up and that should fall in line nicely with a new 2016 new shape ST hehe.if you have £17999 for a new ST 2 good luck to you.i havent so this suits me.i can afford to change every 3years.let some other mug have the depreciation I wont be paying for.works out the same in my opinion. New car every 3 years on a 4.9% apr.sounds ok to me.i got the climate control orange paint and diamondbrite free too.dont pay what theyre asking.ive never done

^ That's the same package as I would have got, with a new car after 3 years.
I didn't get down to haggling over price as I went out of curiosity really, but it seemed like a pretty good deal to me. Much better than forking out nearly 20k in one big lump.

The test drive I had was a bit rubbish though. I expected to have a proper drive, especially if I'm going to be paying that kind of money, but all I got was a slow drive around a town centre waiting at traffic lights so I didn't really get a feel for the car. Otherwise, I might have been more interested in buying one.

Ah ok.shame you dont live nearby id happily let you drive mine.some people say pcps arent worth it.i disagree.i pay for only just over half the car.thats the same as someone paying out 18k and in 3 years its worth around 8.i dont lose the depreciation and get a new car.like my last car its got a mgfv but as I look after it I always make 15-1800 above that so that goes against my new car keeping my payments virtually the same.works for me.if people want to pay all that money with its huge depreciation and no warranty after 3 years and keep well thats up to them.everone has the choice against there circumstances eh
