This post is more out of my own curiosity than anything else, but why are there so many supercharger options for the fiesta and seemingly none "off the shelf" turbo kits? I mean surely the turbo route is easier given the room at the back of the engine where the exhaust is compared to the front where the intake is?

Did people try the turbo route when the first came out and decided it wouldn't work or what? I'd love to turbo my car one day, but looks like if it ever came to that it'd have to be a DIY kit that could end up getting very expensive! It just surprises me that there are hardly any turbo duratecs out there....
