Helloo happy

I have been going through my car because of some vibatrions in the floor and i have discovered a dead engine mount, when i went to my Ford Dealer to ask for a price i almost chocked at hearing the price of 234 punds for a standard one, and it is the lover mount at the back of the engine.

After looking on Burtonpower i came across this one at half price http://www.burtonpower.com/parts-by-fitm...vibfor620m.html but i have never heard of Vibra-Technics before so i just want to hear if you guys know of any good engine mounts for a street car that is better than the stock mounts?

I'm using a Vibratechnics gearbox mount, quite a bit of vibration in the cabin from it, but improves the driving feel 100%

Ford need to get real with their pricing,

We buy their cars and when something goes wrong you are expected to pay through the eyeball for parts.

I needed one torx bolt for the hand brake mechanism on the rear caliper…….

Basically you need to replace the entire unit costing £305 as they don’t supply any rebuild parts for the handbrake section…OK I could of gone to my local B&Q or someplace but that is beside the point.

Back on topic snigger

Some people find the Vibratechnics mounts too intrusive in the cabin and change back to the OEM parts. Just giving you an idea of what to expect wink
