I was wondering if anyone knew how it works with dealers, I get a discount for being a privilege member but how does this affect the dealer.
Do they get the money back from Fords or do they just sell the car at cost price?

Yep, Ford refund the Money back to the dealer.

Actually, when the dealer orders the car on the system he puts your Priviledge discount code in and Ford then automatically sell the car to the dealer at the reduced priviledge price. Ford will not let the dealer register the vehicle without the discount code.
The dealer makes exactly the same percentage of profit on a Priviledge sale as he does on a retail sale so don't let him/her plead otherwise.
