This may seem abit random but can you fit roof bars to an st? i've looked on the roof and there doesn't seem to be anything to put it on too. ( I wont be permantly keeping them on there just to transport a kayak )

There was optional extra to put them on where the black rubber inserts are they are diffrentbto accommodate a roof rack so might have to be a ford only part number and roof bars

right might be worth ringing vospers tomorrow and see what they say. just been down to halfords to ask and it seems like there is a complicated roof rack that is available which hooks on where the front doors are and extends backwards

Pretty sure the mounting brackets are underneath the black rubber weather strip. I'm sure there was an option to have the cutouts pre-made however I'm sure I've seen others cut the weather strip themselves so that they can fit and remove the roof bars whenever.
