Hi all,

I was looking at getting the 57i induction kit for the fez and changing the pipe for a silicon hose, and then I thought why don't I just buy a 90 degree bend silicon hose and a k&n cone filter?

Would this work or is there a t-piece on the induction kit?

Cheers Sam

You can get the elbow and cone filter. All you'll need is a small breather that is on the far side of the rocker cover. That means you don't need that T piece you're describing and it looks better that way too

Sounds a good idea to just buy the pod filter and the elbow, avoiding paying silly prices for the kit.
I think the kit was still only about £90ish when I got mine so I didn't mind paying it at the time

I paid about £130is for the kit from K&N. Though that means I've got the rubbish looking hose and elbow smirk

I ended up ordering a lot off eBay for £50, as that comes with the hose and fittings ( saves the hassle of hunting it all down) then I just need to order the cone filter. Basically a home made 57i induction kit for half the price!

Could always get a pipercross or similar as long as the connecting bore size is the same, if that makes sense?

Yeah K&N57i , at the time they were £75 from any website but this one did a deal so went and picked it up, can't believe the cost of them now for no real reason!
