Just got back from Ford after the engine warning light came on thought it was the lamda sensor,but was given this code description P2135 TP1 and TP2 signal do not correlate.The guy said it was the throttle body and the part for this alone is 450 quid, also was given this code P0420 cat system below thresh hold was told that I would need a new system, pretty pissed off as it was only 4 years ago I had a new system fitted.This is going to cost mega bucks from ford. Any pointers for these problems or good address for decent required parts

similar. First time ever my car would not start few weeks back, went straight into limp mode, running totaly 100% previous and night before. Codes were relating to throttle body and main ECU fail, however one code can bring another code up. They checked the battery (almost 8 years old from new but still firing up like a new one) revealed a fault, could just be one cell not outputting correctly. New battery on, sorted now running fantastic.

That's what I could not understand I had just driven back from Glasgow airport and I wellies it the engine purred and the throttle felt responsive, I have heard that the old software on the ECU carries these engine light fault at low revs, maybe a remap might sort this problem , if it's the cat then fair enough but I don't feel any power loss . But thanks for the heads up YellowBadge so there maybe hope yet 😎

borrow a battery and stick it on see what happens ?
