Hi Guys

I have only had my ST a while and I now have some bodywork damage to be repaired.

I have 3 seperate areas on my car which need repairing; bumper, passenger door and above the break light. These incidents happened seperately but I would like to claim and put them under 1 claim, my excess is £550 is this possible to do.

Never claimed before so would like to know if its OK to have three bits of repair carried out on my car under 1 claim.

Thanks Guys

If the three different bits of damage had occurred in one incident then yes you would have been able to get them under one claim. Unfortunately since they're from separate incidents then they would be treat as seperate claims by the insurers.

Legally its three seperate claims, but you could always just claim once saying you woke up, went to your car and it was like that..... not exactly honest, but then neither is asking somebody to pay a £550 excess ontop of whatever premium you pay!

PS... I hate insurance companies!

Does the damage look like it could have been malicious? If it does maybe you could put 1 claim in for that?

Do you need a Crime Reference Number from the police in order to get the damage repaired. I thought you did? one peice of damage is from vandalsim, I have had all the damage looked at by the bodyshop manager a ford near me.

Whats the best way to proceed.
