I can't find how or where to switch on the notifications.
I found a couple of old threads where they say there is a "Favourite Topic! (toggle)" at the bottom of the page but I don't see it.
Neither do I see notification settings in my profile.
I must be blind - or it's all written in white smile

the forum has probably undergone a software update or 2 since the old threads you speak of.

Now, at the top of the topic there is a topic options button, this gives a dropdown menu where I guess "Add topic to watched topics" is what you will be wanting to use

I've not had email notifications since the last time I reported it (can't even remember when it was, getting on for over a year now). Been replying to PM's insanely late as I sometimes don't notice the flashing message symbol lol

In fact, my inbox tells me I've had no emails from the site since Feb 2013, I had one odd one in November 2013 but absolutely zip all since. Chris and Scotty's emails probably work fine as they're hosted on the same domain, but external to that may be an issue.

My apologies for this. I knew people weren't getting the email notifications for PMs prior to the site upgrade in late 2013, but after that people had said they had started getting them again so I'd assumed that everything was ok and nobody was having any issues. Check that admin@fordfiestast.co.uk is in your safe list and I've also reset a couple of settings and sent a test PM to you and Rob - have a look to see if you've received any email notification or not.

Looking into this.

I get notifications when a member clicks the "Report a post" button etc so I know the site e-mail function is not blocked and working.

I'm just running some tests on the private message notify function. It doesn't appear it's working for me either.
