Who out of you lot is brave enough to get outside and give your motors a good clean?

I've been wanting to... but have managed to put it off so far. I'm going to attempt to give it a good go at the weekend coming.

If you have managed it, show us your results. Before and After pics are always great thumbs

I did manage a coat of R222 on one random sunny day, so smooth so easy on easy off.

I want to do both (and both need it), but any day where I've been free to do it simply hasn't been dry. It's meant to be dry (if cold!) this weekend so should finally get the chance pray

The problem with waxing this time of year is the curing times......!!

Nope and no intention of it either
Need to get it working before I worry about a bit of dirt

I've never left wax on ever, prob should do, R222 might be fine as easy to come off, other cheaper ones in past would never leave on. No waiting time for R222 it states.

There's always a cure time with waxes, each one is different...... I'd leave it on for at least 5mins, longer if it's cold. I have one I' trying atm that took 45mins to cure

Managed to finally clean both today for the first time in 10 weeks. Felt bad about neglecting them, but just simply hasn't been possible before now with all the rain.

Not the best of photos of the rs but the glare off the sun was so bright!

The sunlight shouldn't deceive you though, was only 3C and with the wind blowing at 50mph+, was too cold to be out for long so only spent an hour and a bit outside. Not the best I've ever had them but at least looking more respectable now. happy

Did mine again today, can't be doing with streaks on the windscreen from grit on the roads.

I've been cleaning mine every weekend. Down side of having a white car, it's dirty again in 5 mins!
