Smearing is probably due to the product you're using or a dirty cloth???

For a decent glass cloth, you want a waffle weave microfibre.......

just an MF cloth not a particulary quality one though, just want one to keep in glove box to wipe when need to.

Fast glass and any microfibre cloth, never had an issue

So much better out there.....

Autofinesse Crystal is excellent, Meguiars Glass cleaner is also very very good

I use glass microfibers from Aldi, pack of two for a few quid

Normal ones are no good for glass as they just slide right over without getting a grip
