okay, lower arches seem to take a lot of minor impact, can't really touch these up. I once watched a detailer on telly showing a good way to treat these, which was to mix some paint with ????? and then using a cloth simply rub the area over to fill in these tiny damaged areas, pretty sure this was done on a plastic bumper but assume can do same, so what can you mix the paint with that won't burn your existing paint off, in other words don't use Thinners !

So using the paint kind of like filler? I think you could use thinners as I don't think it will damage paint that has already cured. I have used white spirit to get glue residue off before.

However I'd imagine doing this you could end up with a poor looking finish and it probably wouldn't adhere properly either. Were they just trying to hide the chips to sell the car on or something?
