Hi all

Not posted for quite a while but I still have my MK6 ST which has now covered 132,000 miles, it still has the original timing chain in it, and the exhaust is 3/4 original too. I don't drive like a hooligan!! I'm just about to do an oil change and I thought perhaps I should change from the usual 5w 30 and go for a high mileage oil say 10w 40 fully synthetic.

Anyone got advice on this.

I've heard of people switching to 5W40 quite commonly, usually for track or hard use.
