The sticky velcro pad I received with my speed detector won't still to my dash, I don't want to use the window suckers as they always fail and fall off, bar using some glue on the back which would prefer not to, anyone know any good sticky pads ? I did de-grease it beforehand.

Aren't those supposed to stick well to dashboards?

not fiesta st ones that are pimpled and not smooth, I now just sit it in the central area ontop of either some sponge I cut to the shape or ontop of a cloth duster fine like that.

tuff one really as like you said the dash is rough, have you tried a Velcro pads ? Might work ?

yep tried a few different stickies, I don't want to use any glue and ruin my dash either so I just sit in in the recess bit on top of some cloth to level it up and run the cable down and tucked it in here and there pops out of my dash area.
