seat catch driver side, I don't use this anyway because it does not recline and is always jammed at the bottom, new catch and cable booked in for now, I did ask Ford how much for a new seat and being Ford you can only buy a seat in bits ! The base frame was around £400 so I binned that idea. Breakers yard in future maybe try and get a seat that works.

Never had a problem with mine until the cable snapped, I changed the able but now its stiffer so probably only a matter of time before it breaks the catch

I was actually trying to free it up as I had a journey to make with 4up, reclined it manually with the adjuster wheel, pushed seat all way forward, got in back with a big flat head screw driver to prise the hook whilst reaching with my other hand just lightly pushing the lever open and it just broke out.

Been looking at a few sts today and even the ones with 5k on the clock have broken seat catches

all fixed now new cable and catch, seat reclines for now so will not touch it, other side works great if needed.
