Hi guys, this feels very weird actually posting here as I've read many articles here through google searches!

Anyway, I'm having a real nightmare!
I bought a 2008 ST150 which I love(d) but it appears it's a real bag of bolts unfortunately! Quite a few problems but the main one that has recently appeared is the car going into limp mode with codes P2110, P2107, P0607. I have seen another post with same codes but it didn't help my in my case.

I have changed the TB and coil pack, tried resetting the ECU by the shorting out method on youtube. Had a look at the wiring although I am not an expert and can't see it all! I could be wrong but I reckon the ECU is faulty? Next problem is I cannot get someone to test/repair my particular ECU! Part number is 6S61-12A650-XB 4DPB. I have mailed several companies but no joy.
Another option is to replace the ECU with a 2nd hand one along with cluster, keys and locking unit?! I like this option as my cluster has two cracks at the bottom where someone has probably stuck a screwdriver trying to remove it not realising there is a tab at the top. Question here is can any ECU part number for MK6.5 be used if replacing it all?

Lots of questions but can anyone help at all?!? I really loved the car whilst it was running good but I had it checked over and it needs a lot of cash spent on it and then this happened. I just want it running again asap what with the current COVID situ, my partner works for the NHS so this is far from ideal.

all likely it will be the ECU, the throttle body certainly can cause this as well. I have had this twice and cost me a lot of money first time around replacing lots of items before considering forking out for another ECU. Ended up getting a second hand ECU and had MR200 remap put back on it by Mountune, I assume they also re-programmed the car keys as well to it, all good for a few years then happended again this time a new TB fixed it, no issues now for 5+ years.
Am thinking if this ever happends again I will go aftermarket ECU and remapped locally.

Never got notification of reply, cheers mate
I got it sorted eventually by cloning my ECU onto another.

good to hear, I reckon I have a spare 60mm TB now because first time it happended to me we replaced the existing TB and that wasn't the fix so my very original 60mm from the MP185 conversion must be fine.

Hi Dave, can you let me know who you used to clone the ECU? I've got exactly the same issue finding repair or clone service that will take my specific ECU (same part number as yours)
