I've got a 06 fiesta st150 and I need a new engine, ive been told the mondeo engine is the same and I also got told the 2.3 mazda engine with non VVT is a straight swap.

Ill be removing all my ancillaries from st engine to put on new engine.
What engine makes models age engine codes or what vehicles can I use for swapping into my car.

Just curious if a facelift engine will go straight into a ore facelift fiesta?

Facelift and pre-facelift are identical apart from EGR system, but that should be able to be swapped out between the engines.
