probably get some new rears soon, my eagles have cracked on the sidewall on both, won't be getting any of those again, been on around 4 years so guess had decent value out of them, not much choice locally at my ATS looks like the best of the rest are continental Premium Contact 6, BF Goodrich Advantage or Avon ZV7. Reading reviews Continental look to be favourite.

I thought I would try rainsport this time from all the good reviews I've heard over the years. I think they're rainsport 4, good grip dry and very good in the wet, sidewalls a bit softer than the potenza I had before but overall seem a really good tyre. To counter the soft sidewalls I use 2psi more pressure all round and that seems to give a good balance.

I got them online and fitted at a small independent garage. When I was in ATS for 4 wheel alignment they offered to fit them if I supplied them myself but I prefer to use the smaller places.

Don’t fancy the p zero ? Always thought they was spot on and I know people turn there nose up at the nangkang but was spot on, on my focus st, but saying that I have the conti on the back of my red edition and the grip on the back is outstanding

PZero yes if could get them probably put them on rear, they are good and long lasting but very hard rubber, never liked them on front just won't grip off the line in damp conditions.

Did some hard driving on the Rainsport 4 at the weekend, came to the conclusion they need about 35psi on the fronts to stop them rolling under when cornering since I was running on the sidewalls.
And they grip well though, but wear quite fast.

done today, £202 two PS4, balanced and nitrogen in all four, straight off the premises really notice a better ride. Well pleased, will see how the tyres go, should be fine on rear.
