Does anyone know if this can be dissasembled or fixed somehow? My gear knob has empty travel back and forth because this "bushing" has space.

So what I did is I drilled 2 little holes on the plastic bit and squeezed some caulk in it.
I will take a video of the aftermath once it's dry but that should fix the issue

So this is how it came out, the gear stick pops into gear much smoother and faster
