Hello I'm new here and its not my car, its my wifes car

It had had a few problems, jerking, revs dropping off, so I called a mobile mechanic, he had a look at it and said it was the fuel injector

I thought thats okay

But I need the part number

Tried calling Fords, yes they got em in stock @ 550 quid

I thought that is a bit steep, so started looking for something cheaper

They all want a part number

I have no idea how to get the part number, I dont know if its on the injector

I dont want to take it out just yet (until I got the part number and ordered it)

Its a Ford Fiesta, 5 door, 1400 cc diesel (on the log book it says variant F6JB1

Has anyone any idea on the part number ?

They wont tell the part number, its like its a trade secret

I have tried Fords main dealers, KwikFit, Mr Clutch, but they have to deal with the same suppliers I do and they are having the same problem

I cant buy anything, I might end up with the wrong one and then I'm stuck with something I cant use

It comes up with 2 part codes for different emissions standards:

1348623 before 2004 (Euro 3 emissions)
1469709 2004 onwards (euro 4 emissions)

Not sure if they are interchangeable but probably safe to stick to the same
