I need to take off the tailgate door card inside so I can see actually inside here as the water is coming out of here, I know there are some torx screws and last time I tried took them all off it wouldn't drop off, does it need a shove, is it clipped to any clips, just pull it down and off............?

I'm led to believe the water comes in through the third brake light at the top of the tailgate, after MOT I'm going to replace the light (as it looks quite manky inside) and seal with silicone when reinstalling with a new bulb and hopefully that sorts it.

The inner tailgate trim I think has one or two screws (I can't remember where, maybe the handle?) but other than that just interference fit clips around the edges and it just pulls off.

I seem to remember it needing quite a firm pull to pop it off the fixings

I've fixed this, yes it is the high level brake light, I have sealed all around it just with clear sealant and my finger !, zero water getting in now, job done !

following on from this still have a dry boot, easy fix this lots don't know about this.
