Hi im new to this forum and im looking to buy a ST180 so looking for advice on buying. Whilst looking on market place today I found a ST200 for sale which seems to be a bargain. Its a 2017 ST200 , 84000miles, ford history, MOTd & HPI clear. Ive checked the ford data base and its on there but only for recalls done. Only thing ive found wrong was in the DVLA MOT history it mentioned a distorted wheel but that now appears to have been rectified. What worries me is this cars been on for over 4 weeks now at £8795, I would have thought it would have been snapped up at that price. If you look on market place theres not many on there, any advice/opinion appreciated.

I would say it's the mileage bringing the price down, there's 26 for sale on autotrader currently and that's the highest, for a grand more you could have one with 30k less miles. Looks a good car though.

As you say there is the concern about the distorted wheel, it could have hit a kerb hard or something and potentially damaged other parts like the wishbone, steering or shock etc. but not necessarily a reason not to buy. Not sure what the market is like at the moment.

There's a guy called Tim who has a very comprehensive database of information on mk7s and past history, accidents etc.
