It is really easy to upload pictures so that you can post them on this BB. It might seem like there is a lot to do at first but after you run through it a couple of times you'll soon get the hang of it.

First Click the 'Image Uploader' link in the navigation bar:

The Picture Uploader window will now pop open (meaning the post you are making remains in the original window). Click the browse button and select the file you wish to upload.

Please Note - It is important that the file you want to upload is:
i) A .jpg .gif or .psd image file
ii) Filesize is smaller than 150k (right click the file and select properties to find out what the size is)

Once you have selected the files you want to upload (maximum of 10 at a time) click upload and wait.
If you are using a dial-up modem it can take a few minutes and may even time out, if this happens try uploading only a few images at a time.

Once the images have been uploaded the next page will load, this is the UBB code that you need to copy and paste into the post window. Left click and drag the cursor over the code to highlight it. You then need to copy it - do this either with Ctrl + C or single right click the mouse on the highlighted code and select copy:

Now switch back to the window where you are making your post and paste the code in. You can do this either with Ctrl + V or single right clicking inside the white post window and selecting paste.

Then, when you submit your post (don't forget to enter some text into the subject line above before you do so) the images will load automatically!

You can Scotty

The uploader is primarily for people who want to share images but don't have their own space (or like me have limited access to FTP).

Ideally though if everyone used the uploader for images it would mean that the threads would always work properly and we can build a proper archive.

Eventually the search engines will pick this site up via the content (relevant threads) however if the images are no longer hosted then the the visitor may find a thread that's full of Red X's and lots of people chatting about the images that were once there.
If the images are uploaded I can make sure that doesn't happen. It's just a request however, people can link to images how they like.

I opened it in it's own window, saved the image and then used the image uploader I built for this site. The hotlink wasn't working as the url had %'s in it and wouldn't resolve. I think that's the reason anyway.

Dave had had a go at it before me as it previously said edited by davidChief.

It'll upload, it just won't work with the [img] tags.
