hi everyone, well it had to happen, last night i kerbed my nearside front alloy by accident of course,it,s not heavily scratched but bad enough. is there any advice anyone can give me on what to use to tidy it up please iceman.
Depends how bad it is mate. I know that you can get companys to come to you to repair them and Halfords have started doing it as well in there car parks. I've been known in the past though to get some fine sand paper sand them down and touch it up with either aluminium paint or silver paint just tidys them up.

I did the same - last weekend, my wife came to pick me up at the airport - then kindly told me she had "stubbed the cars toe" !!!
It was a little kerb scuff around 1" long, I just lightly rubbed it back and applied some silver paint from an old touch up pen I had lying in the garage.

Is your wife still be able to borrow your St then?
i was going to get an alloy on my old car refurbished and it was going to cost £45 quid to take a scratch out so be careful cos they can charge anything!

I guess my run of extraordinary luck had to run out! Just clipped a kerb & got about 1/3 of the edge of the alloy. The damage to the alloy persay isnt that bad, its just the film/plastic used to colour my alloys has been scuffed off. Still a full refurb though. Darn it. Teach me not to prat about
