The new dash is definately an improvement, a huge improvement as are the rear lights. I think the only part of the facelift that might be up for debate are the front lights. I personally quite like them but I can easily see why people might not.

Exterior wise some colours look better with the old headlamps i.e black, blue, red.

With the new headlamps the white one looks better with the new headlamps.

As for the interior the new one is an improvement.

Externally, think the rear lights better on the facelift, still not convinced about the frog lights although now I've got used to seeing them around don't hate them like I did when I first saw them.

Internally, think the interior is quite a bit nicer, although if I was getting one would have to be black dash still don't like the coloured ones too much. It was a good move going back to having proper gauges for the fuel and temperature rather than the digital ones. If I'm being a little picky here though, thought it was a shame that they decided to get rid of the silver surround and lit up circle around the speedo and rev counter - its just on mine I've always found it cool the way its lit up at night, especially with that little blob that moves round the circle with the needle as well.

Yeah I have never seen that in the flesh Chris. It sounds to be quite cool. One day im sure i will see it though. I saw an ST the other week with the rear facelift lights and the front prefacelift lights. I didnt get close enough to be able to see inside to see which it was, but obviously someone didnt like the standard lights on whichever version they had.

Like the new lights from the front its just when you get round the side and notice the "Lump" it ruins it!

The interior is better bar the massive dials, (They are awfull!) Couloured dashboard and that daft hole above the glovebox.

I like all of the new gadgets tho.

did drive the old and new version and the new version interior is much better than the old version but if only they keep that GT pack option with the stripe on the central console!which doesn't exist on new version!

Yup the black striped bezel does look good, even if its a bugger to keep clean!!

On the facelift if you go for the interior styling pack you get this silver surround around the radio and centre controls instead:

That isnt the interior styling pack for the face lift Fiesta. That's an optional extra you can get on baser models. The interior styling pack for the facelift Fiesta ST hasn't, doesn't and is unlikely to exist afaik.

I check with a UK Ford dealer and u can get that silver surround but only if u got an Auto aircon because they do not making it for manual air con!

Buying S/H I was stuck with the old version, but I prefer the lights and interior colours anyway. I'd have liked larger dials but really the old type do the job, and when driving all I care about is that they show the revs and speed.
