Thats cool, you must be well excited! like iceman says, check the car and make sure you know where things are. theres nothing worse than when it starts to pee it down and you can find the wipers!! let us know how it goes and i bet we dont see you for a few days - youll be out in her all week!!

Thanks for the info guys.... I'm fairly used to ford layout but it'll take me a while to get used to the window wiper control... my pug 306 is pull to do water plus wipers on the front and this is for the back on fords?!?! anyhow......

I got it coming in red with full stripes, full leather, auto headlights and wipers (no confusion in operation ), bluetooth, auto AC and tinted windows..... YAY!

I'm sure you can't wait for tommorrow to come now!! Good choice of colour combination as well.

When you've managed to put her down for a minute, let us know what your first impressions are, and also maybe get a few pics up.

I'll defo upload a few pics if I can work out how... might need a hand resizing them etc but I'll see what I can do.

Just had the dealer on the phone saying its all ready but waiting for the ford insure docs to come through....... Just need to duck out of work for a few hours when my boss isn't looking to get it!

Got it at lunchtime..... only 11 miles on the clock and all in good order

Painful driving back to work and having it sit in the carpark but at least I've had a string of e-mails saying it sticks out like a sore thumb!

I'll grab some photos of it later on/tomorrow and get them uploaded

The wait was worthwhile!

Easiest way to do this is...

i). Right click on the image file and open it using Paint.
ii). Go to "Image" on the top tool bar.
iii). Go down to "stretch/skew" and click on it.
iv). Change the top two boxes to "30" then press ok.
v). Save the file.

err.... just got back from showing her off to everybody and I love it to bits!

I'll get a few pics sorted hopefully tomorrow but defo at the weekend..... however she has already picked up some road slime

Just one question... auto headlights work fine, but do I have to turn on the auto wiper function or is it always on?.... just hasn't rained yet here!

Cheers again peeps for all the advice; think I've made the best choice

You old tart pleased for you bet she was worth the wait.
AS for the auto lights im not sure as havent got mine yet but they would probably be on. Some of the other fellow forum peeps might be able to answer that one better for you mate.
But if in doubt just chuck some water over the windowscreen you will know then

Hiya! You sound really pleased with the ST, and so you should. As far as the auto wipers go, to activate them you need to push the wiper stalk up to the first notch (where intermittent would be). I leave mine there all the time and never turn them off. The auto lights though can cause problems as they flash intermittently for some strange reason. It will be interesting to see if you have that problem. Good luck with it and enjoy

I had auto lights and wipers on my problematic Focus 2.0TDCi Ghia.
I HATED THEM!!!! - I hated the fact that whenever you started the car (from inside the garage) the headlights came on whilst starting and the wipers gave one sweep.

Hated the fact that the car was trying to start with the headlights on - not too good for the battery me thinks.
Also that single wiper sweep on start up was a pain in the a*s, especially when the car had been washed and polished, only for the wipers to sweep a nice mess over the screen!
Dont know if the Fiesta setup is the same, but I turned the features off on my Focus, I hated them......

Anyway, thats just me......

Andy

Yeah, when you turn the wipers to auto they doa sweep (i guess to clear the sensor more than anything else).

The lights seem pretty good so far, but then only driven 100 miles so far
