Hi Guys.

Had my car a week now and really love it.

When I go to unlock my car on the remote, my alarm keeps going off. I dosen't happen all the time but does my head it when it does.

Anyone got any ideas?

I believe that there is currently a problem with the GEM modules on the Face lift Fiesta at the moment causing the alarm to go off. Seems to be a common fault that Ford are aware of.
Take it back to your dealer for them to have a look at the GEM module in it.

I had that problem with my new facelift ST, I took it to the dealer and they replaced the alarm module, and it is fine now.

yep you will need a new gem module fitting,i have this problem and getting
it sorted as we speak,get back to your dealer to get it looked at.
this should be a official recall now,as its getting out of hand.

think they do it for free (only heard about this) that would really tick me off lol

they will do it for free if its under warranty.

Make sure though when they replace the GEM module that ALL electrics are working. Some people who have had this replaced found things like their electric folding mirrors didnt work.
