Hiya people, over the last couple of weeks ive noticed a knocking sound from the near side front of the vehicle, but only when I do a right turn. Obviously the weight is shifting to the left when you turn right and that is when the noise happens. I guessing it maybe an anti-roll bar bush or something but Id be very surprised if it is as Ive only had it 6months!

Anyon else had this?

Anti roll bar links just had mine changed only really heard it when cold, then the exhaust got noisy and then i couldnt hear anything lol.

Hmmm I'm getting this after I've had my coilovers fitted. I wonder...

i hope to book it in real soon but ill let you know.

id be shocked it its the anti roll bushes...onloy done 5000 odd miles! (and dont rag it about!)

Just an update chaps... took my ST in to get looked at. Midday came and me phone rings, chap tells me my cars sorted and ready to be picked up. I ask what the problem was and he says there isnt one. I say there is blahblah blah. He tried baffling me with some technical information and i then explained to him that im a mechanic so dont f**king try that!!! He went quiet so I then explained the whole thing again and even gave him some advice to follow to diagnose where thenoise is coming from!!! lol

anyway, made no differance, went to pick it up and they was saying that they cant here any noises (they must be deaf as a pensioner could easily here it!!) so i basically commented on how poor i think the garage is and that when i have time i will be back and will take a senior technicain out for a drive so he can hear it.

there all the same! everytime u go to ur dealer cos u have some problems, and they always give u the same answer! "Sorry but can't find any problems!" and if you know the problem u have to tell them what to do!

can u get a job there you can probably do better than them the trick is not be intimadated by them and not be afraid to ask and see the job sheet give them
stick and they know you mean buisness.
