It's coming to the stage now when i think it is time to cancel my order for my car. The car was ordered back in May and been sat at the dealer for 3 months with no progress. I am currently working for myself and have lost work due to the car it's getting to the point now that being nice to them and screaming to them is getting me no where have even threatened them and they still do not respond to my emails and phone calls this is causing me stress as getting no work at the moment especially with christmas around the corner (Financing car and having the money for my part ex to buy a van). They did me an excellent deal so excellent think it was to good to be true. I have seen my car so know it is there.

Does anyone know how i can get round this problem? all i want is a Frozen white st with folding mirrors, EATC, Privacy glass and auto lights/wipers and to get rid of my 206. I have been very excited about getting my car but just been let down to the point where i am hating the car. Phoned them again earlier and they said waiting to hear back from the finance company as i had a querry they was charging me to much for the st and again they would get back to me by 5 o'clock and once again nothing. Have now come to the end of my patience and sent them a email stating if the car is not delivered or sorted out within the next week i will be canceling the order.
If this happens i have bought many mods for it which i will place in the lot for all to see.

This is a excellent site and i have had a lot of fun on here. Thanks to all off you with your advice and i hope it comes to the point where i dont cancel the car as i really want it

Ford garages have s**te customer service as standard. I usually have to go back twice to get something resolved. You should speak to the management there and you'll see the priority change. Have you tried to contact the finance company directly? Problem with working for yourself, finance comapnies usually drag their feet when taking out a loan. Maybe its not the ford garages fault but they should be phoning you up and informing you whats happening with it.

thanx for your reply they wont even tell me who its being financed through this problem with the finance has been goin on now for 3 weeks they invoiced the car out to over 14 grand but told me it was 10 grand so where has the extra 4 grand + come from? Know some is interest but it cant all b interest they dont even know what rate its at. My brother is only payin a grand interest on a fiesta 1.25 style. Sorry to go on just fed up now

To be honest I absolutely hate Ford. They are the biggest waste of space. Customer service......they don't even know the meaning of the word!

My car has been in twice now, as it doesn't start up all the time and there is a really bad squeeking coming from what sounds like the back end. The 1st time it went in they did nothing, except tell me it needs to go back in to be sorted. They told me they'd rang the "Technical Department" to see what the problem was with it not starting......let's be honest it wouldn't have taken more than 10 minutes to do it, and I could have done that myself. Oh and apparently it's a "characteristic" of the car......bulls**t!!

It went back in last Friday to have the squeeknig sorted......funnily enough, it's started squeeking again!!

They are absolutely useless, they couldn't organise a p**s up in a brewery if they tried.

I asked them if they were going to pay the addition charge my insurance keep making to be have another car for the day, I think we know what the response was to that...... I explained this to the patronising, hardfaced c*w on reception!!

Anyway that's my moan over with......

There must be something wrong at your dealer's STifler, I've just checked my system, put in the spec you want - Frozen White ST, power fold mirrors, privacy glass, EATC etc - and can get one built between 10th and 14th December (!), for delivery to you in early January.

STifler,

I think the service you have recieved from your dealer is totally unacceptable. I would most definately say something now and try and time it so that its busy. That way you can get your point across with many people in ear shot where they are not going to want you to slate thier srvice as it could cost them business. Get on thier case mate. They are just stalling you. Try and document all contact you have with them so you can prove what you have had to go through. Good luck!

i had huge problems with my local dealer when i brought my zetec s (2000). It needed a new engine and was only 6months old. It dragged on for another 2 months. the dealer didn't want to sort it under warranty and wanted to charge me over 2 grand before they even ordered the engine. I finally went beserk in the showroom, abusing the manager and gave him 5 days to sort it or said i would drive the car through the showroom window! Funny enough they did it after that and i never went back there again. Ive been using another dealer since for the past 5yrs and never let me down. i could have got a better deal on the ST elsewhere but wanted to deal with them. They're all not crap, just most of them.

Hope you get it sorted STifler.
