Been in to fords yesterday and they got really funny with me and told me they couldnt give me the break down on the finance as the quote is now old and not valid. They told me car was £10,300 with all options and £6,500 for my 206 part ex which was all agreed in May. I never left the showroom till i got my breakdown in figures and even then they said they will have to email them to me as they couldnt give me them. Know its childish but told them that they are a f*****g joke and i am never ever buying a car from them again and slammed the door open nearlly taking it off its hinges as i say childish but very p****d off.

When got home i witnessed a miracle the email was waiting for me. Looking at the break down they have added figures up twice to a total off £1850 (this must be the money they have lost on 206 and why the deal was so good for and why the real reason is for not showing me the breakdown of the figures) got back in touch with ford and they say its this deal or nowt so after waiting around for 7 months they have well and truly s**t on me from a great hight and cuz just started working for myself i can't produce any wage slips for finance reasons. If this was all sorted out back in May then none of this would of happened

Now leaves me with no car and well and truly gutted. Hate ford after this how hard is it to buy a car these days bought my 206 with less hassle. As said on first post i have a bit of stuff to sell off the car so i'll put everything in the lot for you all to see.
This is a very good site and i've had loads of fun on here so keep up all the good work and enjoy
Matt

Well said. I hate them, they're all a bunch of robbing b**tards!!

When I was got my ST, they messed me around loads.

Found the car I wanted & asked about part exing my previous car, but when they offer me £1800 I basically told them where to stick it. I got the price of the ST, told them I wasn't part exing mine & went away with some figures for the finance. I went back on another occasion and the figures were the same, but apparently I'd agreed to give £1800 cash instead of part exing my car (which I never said I was doing). One person told me it was 0% and the other person told me it was 6.6%. I worked out and I was paying back roughly 2k over 4 years, that's clearly not 0% or 6.6%.

I told them I didn't want the finance as I got a personal loan instead. Then they decided they were uping the price of the car by £600. I told them I don't think so somehow. Baring in mind I had an order form confirming what they agreed to sell the car at, nothing confirming I was taking the finance.

They were having none of it, until my dad got on the phone & told them to either sell the car at the price they had originally agreed and what was showing on the legal document or we would take them to court!

Funnily enough I got the car for the price they quoted! I did warn them at the start of it all, not to take the p**s or try and pull the wool over my eyes......they tried and failed miserably!

The service is terrible.

Not ALL of them.

Where did you get your car from KK? Was it Polar Ford (formerly Atlantic) in Stockport?

See i havent had that problem here at all. When i took my girlfriends focus in to be serviced they showed me the job sheet over the counter and went through it in detail as to what they had done. I didnt ask them to do that. And when i took my ST to get them to have a look at the revving starting problem they did the same thing. Must just be the brits i think!

Nice one they havent a clue what they are doing made it worse i worked for this dealer since i left school and they are old work mates
Glad im not the only one that has been mest around with. They probably seen a girl coming into the showroom (not meaning to sound sexist Kath) and thought that you would be an easy target for them im glad you have got your head screwed on and stuck to your guns Where the hell did that extra £600 come from that they decided to add on just cuz you took out a personel loan it baffles me glad you seen that as well. Cant say it for all salespeople but they dont seem to know what intrest rates are being used, in the last 7 months i have had shed loads of intrest rates quoted to me best one being 12.5% yesterday on options with a gfv of nearly 7 grand after 3 years do they really think im that stupid.

Dont really want to state my dealers name as they have a bad name allready but they are the same when i took my focus rs in for some work and considering at the time i worked there first they said i was taking the p**s out of them and a lad of 23 cant afford a rs and got told to go else where and when i went else where got called in managers office and had my arse kicked for buying it at another dealer and was told to take dealer stickers out and change the plates to theres . second when it went in for work i asked for a job sheet and said they couldn't show me it as it was filed away like you said iceman they looked bored and it was to much effort on the service desk for them. To top it off they scuffed my brembo brake calipers by dropping the wheel on them and took a chunk out the dash which apparently i have done started court procedings against them which led to them putting new calipers on the car.
Any way going off on one again not happy with my ford dealer. Did you get your car sorted out after all that and have they done everything to it that you asked them to do?

STifler......I agree. I think because I'm female they saw an easy target, how wrong they were!

I hate all car garage salesmen, they are two faced and lying gits (sorry anyone has friends who do this job, it's just my opinion).

Well hope you get everything sorted

Cheers mate thats ok just glad they never screwed you as well. In talks with someone at the moment trying to get one for first week of January in spec i ordered from a dealer up North.

They sent me a really snoty email this morning trying to put over that deal was the best they could offer and wont be beaten so is that why i've already got a better deal else where. just writing them a nasty email back childish but worth it Annoys me cuz when ordered my Focus RS never had any of this hassle and it was a rare car its a joke
